BR Exclusive: NEPI Rockastle to open Festival Shopping Sibiu in the last quarter of 2019

NEPI Rockcastle will deliver Festival Shopping Center Sibiu in the fourth quarter of this year. The EUR 100 million investment will have 135 stores and a 42,200 sqm leasable area.

The South African firm acquired the land and the project in February 2018, from Primavera Development, a company owned by the Tanasoiu family, for EUR 21 million.

The new mall will have a leasable area of ​​42,200 square meters and be built near the railway station in Sibiu.

Among the tenants are CineGold, Inditex (Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius), H&M, New Yorker and Kaufland, all of whom are already confirmed.

Festival Sibiu will also have an 8-screen CineGold cinema as well as 1,800 parking spaces.

NEPI Rockastle will also deliver this year the 9,600 sqm extension of Shopping City Sibiu, a mall bought in 2016 from Argo. The mall has a leasable area of ​​79,100 square meters and is currently the only one in the city.
