bauMax puts EUR 30 mln into two new stores

The outlet in Ploiesti, which required EUR 20 million in investment, will also cover 15,000 sqm. Built as a green pilot project, it includes green heating and lighting systems. The pilot project will be replicated in future in the DIY firm's Romanian chain. bauMax owns stores in Brasov, Sibiu, Targu Mures, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Suceava and Bacau. The retailer entered the Romanian market three years ago.
