According to the contract, Astaldi will work on the arrivals terminal extension, modernizing the official space in the airport, the construction of new parking space and reorganizing passenger traffic. Work starts at the beginning of this year and should be completed within three years.
The company is currently modernizing Cluj-Napoca International Airport, and working on the construction of the Bucharest-Constanta railway and the Basarabi subway in the capital, a project worth EUR 113 million. Astaldi is also responsible for 40 percent of the National Stadium construction project worth EUR 120 million, a project developed in partnership with Max Boegl.
