PPF Real Estate appoints Mirela Ciovică as Head of Leasing in Romania

PPF Real Estate, a leading developer and investor with property assets exceeding EUR 2 billion globally, has appointed Mirela Ciovică, a seasoned real estate expert, as Head of Leasing for its properties in Romania. The PPF Real Estate Romanian assets currently comprise two class A office buildings located in the center of Bucharest – Crystal Tower and Metropolis Center, with a total leasable area of 35,000 sqm. In her new role, Mirela Ciovica will be managing and supporting PPF Real Estate’s existing tenants and being responsible for developing new business.

Having coordinated the corporate accounts and new business and foreign markets at Knight Frank, Mirela Ciovică brings nearly ten years of experience in commercial real estate, focusing on the office market.

My primary focus will be on managing and expanding the tenant portfolio within our two class A office buildings in the heart of Bucharest city,” added Mirela Ciovică, Romania Head of Leasing, PPF Real Estate.

Crystal Tower, a class A office building in the central business district of Bucharest, is the country’s first non-government property featuring its own heliport. The tower also offers spectacular city views. The office building has a total leasing space of approx. 16,000 sqm, and currently hosts the headquarters of multinationals such as Reckitt Benkiser, Editec, or Ceetrus.

Metropolis Center, considered a landmark of Bucharest due to its unique architectural design and location, offers 19,000 sqm of office and retail spaces. It is currently housing mainly multinational tenants such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Parexel, DLA Piper, Boehringer Ingelheim, Queisser Pharma or Mega Image.

Part of PPF Group, PPF Real Estate entered Romania in 2016 with the first real estate investment on the class A office market, Metropolis Center. In 2018, it followed with the acquisition of Crystal Tower.
