Marian Pirvu is the new CEO of Depaco, part of TeraPlast Group

Depaco, one of the most important metal tile producers under the brand Wetterbest, has a new general manager – Marian Pirvu. He has extensive experience in the construction sector, with 20 years of work in industrial and residential construction.

The new head of Depaco, part of TeraPlast Group, has held managerial positions such as Commercial Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager. He was also a member of the management committees of the companies he worked for, and he also served as vice president.

Marian Pirvu has strong international expertise in his previous roles, managing activities in several countries in the Central and Eastern Europe region, such as Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia or Slovakia.

Depaco is one of the leading manufacturers of roofing systems in the local industry, its products being marketed under the Wetterbest brand. After 18 years of continuous development following strong entrepreneurial principles, during which it switched from importer to a successful local producer, in 2017 the company decided to go through a new stage of development through the partnership with the industrial group TeraPlast, which took control of the majority stake.
