Florin Suicescu - new COO at Forty Management

Forty Management announces that Florin Suicescu has joined the team as Chief Operations Officer, aiming to contribute to the scaling strategy of Central District Lagoon City, the most complex green urban reconversion in Central and Eastern Europe. Florin will also contribute to the implementation of the Central District Bucharest – The Crest Collection by Ascott Hotel in the center of Bucharest. Construction is expected to start this autumn, with opening expected in the first quarter of 2026.

With over 30 years of managerial experience, Florin has held senior positions in real estate and hotel developments, having played a major role in the development of some of the most sophisticated projects in these sectors, including Central Residential Park, Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard, Swissotel Bucharest.

Recently, Forty Management started work on the development of Central District Lagoon City in Bucharest, the most innovative, self-sustainable, mixed urban reconversion, unique in Central and Eastern Europe. The project will implement for the first time in Eastern Europe the patented Crystal Lagoons® technology, which allows the construction and maintenance of energy-efficient, unlimited size artificial turquoise water lagoons. It will cover an area of more than 10,000 sqm, have a maximum depth of 2 meters, two large beaches of over 3,200 sqm and numerous other facilities. Lagoon City will bring around this artificial lagoon a 323-room 5* hotel affiliated to an international brand, 401 apartments for rent, 9,200 sqm of commercial and service space, an 8,500 sqm class A office building and other facilities.
