Ernst & Young Romania appoints former Transelectrica CEO as executive director

Andrei Benghea-Malaies has joined Ernst & Young Romania as executive director and head of the performance improvement team after having previously briefly served as  CEO of Transelectrica.

He has 10 years of experience in professional services working for McKinsey in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as later with Renaissance Advisors as a founding partner. He has also worked in the public sector, as head of office for the Ministry of Public Finance, and has served as board member for the National Printing House, the National Lottery, CFR and Romania Film.

Later he served as non-executive board member at Transelectrica, the Romanian Power Grid Company, appointed by the Property Fund.
