Atradius appoints Alexandra Mehedințu as head of the Romania branch

Atradius Group, one of the world’s largest providers of commercial credit insurance, guarantees, and collection services, appoints Alexandra Mehedințu as head of the Romania branch.

With leadership skills and an exceptional ability to inspire and motivate those around her, with a passion for excellence and vast experience accumulated over the past 14 years in implementing various credit risk assessment and marketing projects in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, and Cyprus, Alexandra Mehedințu assumes the role of Country Manager for Atradius Romania.

A graduate of the EMBA program at the IESE Business School in Munich and with a diverse background covering sales and marketing, and extending to commercial and financial analysis, Alexandra Mehedințu has contributed to major programs in over 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Her proven skills in risk management and business strategy development will strengthen Atradius’s position in the local market.

The Atradius Romania branch was established in January 2017 and offers credit insurance and debt collection solutions, aiming to reduce its clients’ exposure to the risk of non-payment from the buyers to whom they sell products and services. The team in Bucharest provides clients with the opportunity to protect their cash flow and safely increase their commercial transactions, while reducing the cost of financing their operations.
