Amit Kumar, 32, is the new CEO of ArcelorMittal Hunedoara, replacing Remus Patan who has retired. Kumar has over 11 years of professional experience in the steel industry.
He began his career as production director at Bhilai Steel Plant in India and in 2008 he joined ArcelorMittal Long Carbon Europe as performance enhancement manager. In 2011 he was appointed investment director at the long carbon division headquartered inLuxembourg.
