Vyacheslav Bandukov – Bottoms Up in the Beer Industry

Newsroom 10/10/2022 | 11:14

Vyacheslav Bandukov is a serial entrepreneur with a significant interest in distributing beer from Mexico to the United States. His experience with having operated several successful businesses will help him unveil the pathway to the distribution of his new beer brand through restaurant chains and e-commerce.

Assimilation of Entrepreneurial Experience

Vyacheslav acquired much of his entrepreneurial experience through his studies at the St. Petersburg Forestry Engineering Academy, from which he graduated with a forest and forest park engineering degree in 1999. Following his graduation, he worked for several public and private corporations, each focusing on forestry. He had titles as a forest manager, director, logging engineer, forest fund engineer, forest foreman, and reforestation engineer.

His logging experiences led to him opening his own business regarding forestry equipment, consumables, and spare parts. Vyacheslav realized that from his prior experiences, he could apply his knowledge to this new era of his life.

Critical Business Responsibilities

As a director, he was responsible for reaching out to new clients and encouraging them to purchase products, managing a client database and conducting negotiations, accounting and invoicing, advertising, and tracking the inventory used for the warehouse. Alongside inventory management was planning out purchases, searching for suppliers, inquiring for quotes, and setting up negotiable contracts with suppliers.

As the CEO of his trading company, Vyacheslav was in charge of many of the same things as a director but much more. He planned out his purchases and sales, managed the purchasing department, monitored suppliers, negotiated contracts with his suppliers, performed the majority of interactions with his suppliers, and coordinated work for the department. Because he was at the top and needed to track all expenses, inquiries, and actions for his business, he wrote documents and reports for all work completed. He made plans to ensure that his department could complete unfinished work.

Logistics and Preparation for a New Business

Before he started his first business, Vyacheslav was aware of the world around him. In 2000, he noticed the patents for new logging equipment and figured he could create a service base for repairing and maintaining logging instruments and hardware. Logging equipment and spare parts suppliers were mainly European and American, and the companies he worked with cooperated with those manufacturers. Thus, he could quickly negotiate contracts with them and service and run diagnostics of engines, filtration systems, and consumables.

His experience with suppliers, contracts, and the logging industry has led him to where he is today: ready to navigate the beer industry and begin distributing beer and other drinks from Mexico to the U.S. As an entrepreneur, Vyacheslav has a business plan and understands that regardless of how successful he will be, if something goes wrong, he must be quick to solve the problem to keep relations in order.

His new company, FanTuna, will research the market for its intended products and gear its products toward shopping chains, restaurants, bars, distributors, and direct buyers for e-commerce purposes. He desires to promote his brand via clothing, gift items, catalogs and many other products to raise brand awareness. He comprehends the logistics of operating the business with regard to technical support for a website, proper management and storage for beer, kombucha, and other temperature-sensitive drinks.

Vyacheslav immerses himself continually in the industry to learn and analyze it for an effective business management strategy.
