Recently, a new multinational company has joined the United Business Center, the office component of the Openville Timişoara mixed-use project. Steadforce is a German software consultant and developer, its headquarters being located in München, with a 30 years’ of experience in providing customized IT solutions.
Steadforce is a software supplier for companies such as BMW Group and they develop, among others, the web platform for one of Europe’s biggest car sharing applications, thus serving over one million users.
The company’s relocation within the Openville mixed-use project, which is currently developed in the proximity of the Iulius Mall, shall allow the consolidation of the development plans that Steadforce envisages for the Timişoara location. Steadforce.com has been operating in Timişoara since 2008 under the F&F brand, particularly pursuing the development of enterprise web applications. Under the Steadforce new brand, the company shall bring together data science and advance analytics specialists, as well as software developers specialized in modern technologies, including Angular and React. In the new office space within the Openville Timişoara shall work approximately 30 employees, their complement following to increase up to 50 within the next three years.
Steadforce company numbers more than 100 employees and provides data analysis, software solutions and IT consulting services in various fields of activity such as automobiles, telecommunications and medical care services. Important names such as BMW Group, Audi, Siemens, TÜV Süd are among its clients, as well as several German medical care associations.
About Openville Timişoara
The largest business, retail and entertainment hub in the west of Romania will be opened in the fourth quarter of this year upon the completion of the first phase of development. Openville will comprise: 47,000 sqm of additional retail area, 50,000 sqm of office buildings in operation and other 52,000 sqm pending construction, a park, a traffic underpass and new parking spaces.
After the two office buildings that were completed in 2017, works are in progress for another two buildings. UBC 3 has an area of 19,000 leasable sqm and shall be completed this year. UBC 0 shall provide 52,000 sqm of office spaces and shall be the tallest office building in Romania (155 meters’ height, 27 floors). The construction has begun in April 2018 and the completion is estimated for the last quarter of next year.
Meanwhile, works are carried out for the new retail spaces, the underground parking and the traffic underpass that will ease up the traffic within the entire region. The Openville mixed-use project is developed by the IULIUS and Atterbury Europe companies, representing an estimated investment of 220 million Euros.
