The construction works on the new business park in Craiova are ongoing and the first 10,000 sqm of industrial space will be delivered by the end of the year, said the real estate developer Zacaria.
Southern Industrial Park will cover an area of 43.000 sqm of class A industrial space, for activities such as storage, logistics, cross-docking or manufacturing.
The park is Zacaria’s first investment in the southern Romania and aims to cover the increasing demand in the area for premium industrial spaces.
The construction of the first phase, comprising of a 33,000 sqm of warehouses, will be completed in early 2018.
“The first clients have already commissioned for lease units in the new warehouse,” said Emilia Tepes, national sales director of the developer.
Southern Industrial Park was acquired in 2015 and has a total area of 100,000 sqm. It is located near Ford’s plant in Craiova.
Zacaria, part of international group Alf Mizzi & Sons, has a portfolio of 300,000 sqm of industrial and office spaces for lease, in six Romanian cities.
