Meteorologists have issued a yellow code warning signifying extremely high temperatures for Bucharest and 14 counties in southern and western Romania. Temperatures are expected to reach in between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday. The yellow code warning was issued for the following counties: Ialomita, Calarasi, Ilfov, Giurgiu, Teleorman, Olt, Dolj, Mehedinti, Caras-Severin, Timis, Arad, Bihor, Alba and Hunedoara.
