Yahoo.ro is now available for Romanian users

Yahoo! is now available in Romanian and supplies news, and weather information. Romanian users can also create an e-mail account with the .ro extension.

 Yahoo! announced in November 2010 that it would launch the Romanian portal in the first part of March and that it will offer services such as e-mail and messaging.

 The Yahoo.ro website includes four main categories, News, Finances, Sport and Lifestyle in Romanian.

 At the end of last year, the Yahoo! Services in Romania were used by 8.2 million people, which represented around 80 percent of the total number of people who had internet access in the country, according to Marvin Liao, commercial manager of Yahoo! For EMEA region, quoted by Mediafax.
