Romanian Minister of Finance Ionut Misa was recently in Washington where he announced that the World Bank will start its first technical mission regarding Ploiesti-Brasov highway on October 30.
The Ploiesti-Brasov highway is part of A3 highway. It will measure 600 kilometers and it will link Bucharest to the Hungarian border.
Misa attended the annually meeting of the International Monetary Fund between October 11- 16. At the event he discussed with the vice president of World Bank, Cyril Muller, about the possibility to finance the Ploiesti-Brasov highway project.
“The Bank declares its support and it will already begin the first technical mission on October 30,” stated Misa.
Misa also discussed about the fiscal-budgetary strategy for 2017-2019 and promised that Romania will keep its budgetary deficit below 3 percent in 2017-2018.
