Wholesales’ turnover (except for cars and motors trade) increased year-on-year both on gross and adjusted series by 7.6 percent in the first 11 months of 2017, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Thus, during November 1-30, the wholesales’ turnover increase on gross series was due to the unspecialized wholesale (16,5 percent), the specialized wholesale trade for other products (14.2 percent), wholesale trade for wide consumer goods, other than food (6.6 percent), wholesales trade with food, beverages and tobacco (6 percent), wholesales trade with raw agricultural products and animals (5.9 percent) and wholesales for other cars, equipments and furniture (4.2 percent).
On the other hand, were registered drops in the wholesale of information and telecommunication equipments (-1 percent) and in the intermediation activities in wholesale (-0.7 percent).
As against period November 1-30, 2016, in the period November 1-30, 2017 the wholesale turnover (excluding the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles), adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality, in nominal terms, registered an increase of 7.6 increase due to the increases registered by the non-specialized wholesale(+15.7 percent),by the other specialized wholesale(+13.8 percent),by the wholesale of other machinery, equipment and supplies(+7 percent), by the wholesale of household goods, other than food (+6.2 percent),by the wholesale of food, beverages and tobacco (+6.1 percent), by the wholesale of agricultural raw materials and live animals (+3.1 percent) and by the wholesale intermediation activities (+0.2 percent). The wholesale of information and communication equipment decreased by 3.2 percent.
At the end of November, compared with October, the wholesale turnover decreased on gross series by 3.3 percent, respectively by 0.3 percent on adjusted series.
