Global law firm White & Case ranks no. 1 by deal volume in mergermarket’s 2010 league table for law firms acting on M&A transactions in CEE, including Russia and the CIS. Mergermarket is the world’s leading independent M&A intelligence tool.

Since the beginning of 2010, White & Case has advised on 28 deals across CEE and the CIS valued at a total of USD 6.2 billion.

Highlights of transactions which illustrate the volume of work performed by White & Case in 2010 include among other significant deals Invitel Holdings A/S’s sale of Invitel International, comprising the entire issued share capital of Invitel International AG, including its Romanian subsidiary EuroWeb Romania, to Türk Telekom for an enterprise value of EUR 221 million;
