What to do in Bucharest this weekend?

The last weekend of January is announced to be sunny, but cold, perfect to enjoy it during the concerts and other cultural events. Here is our selection!

Provincialii will hold a concert on January 27 at Beraria H starting 8 PM. The band has 10 members and over 15 years of activity with hundreds of concerts, and attendances at Eurovision, Cerbul de Aur, Mamaia Festival. On Friday it will hold a show etno-pop-rock. The tickets prices range between RON 15 and RON 20.

Metal fans can enjoy the METALHEAD Alternative Rock Awards on January 27, starting 7 PM, at Arenele Romane. As every year, METALHEAD awards the best musical achievements of 2016. The tickets prices range between RON 45 and 70.

Also, Tiberiu Albu’s band, „Fameless”,  the winner of the fourth season of Vocea Romaniei will launch its first album at Hard Rock Cafe on January 27, starting 10:30 PM. Fameless has hold already 3 concerts at Hard Rock Cafe. The special guests of the launching concerts are Tudor Chirila, Dan Byron, Cornel Ilie and Teodora Buciu.

On Friday, 27 January, and Sunday 28 January, the National Museum of Art of Romania (MNAR) will welcome visitors between 10 am – 10 pm, as part of an event titled Nocturna Muzeala. Visitors will have access to the Gallery of European Art and the Exhibition of the Annual Awards of the Union of Artists in Romania.

On Saturday, 28 January, The Art Collections Museum (Calea Victoriei 111), K.H. Zambaccian (Strada Muzeul Zambaccian 21 A) and the Theodor Pallady Museum (Str. Spatarului 22) will be open to the public between 10 am-10 pm. Visitors can purchase tickets at each locations.

The South-American music fans can enjoy the live concert “Pasion de Arrabal”of Habanegra, at ARTea tea house on January 28, starting 7:30 PM. The band comprises Ioana Ernea,Luis Angel Palomino Tuero,Raubel Torres Gonzalez,Gilberto Acen Ortega.

On January 28, starting 8 PM,  the party SONOR w will take place at World Trade Plaza. The bands that will sing will be Moonlight Breakfast, GOLAN live,YellLow and Chivu. There will be a limited number of seats due to the location (1500).

Fado music fans can attend the concert of Ambra at Puro&Bio on January 29 starting 7 PM. The tickets prices are RON 30 and include a Portuguese cake, Pasteis de Nata.
