What to do in Bucharest this weekend?

The last month summer has officially started, so here are some events from the first weekend!

The first event starts on Friday from 19:00 at Green Hours jazz-cafe on Victoriei Square, a jazz and poetry evening. The National of Romanian Literature Museum from Bucharest, together with “Gellu Naum” Foundation organize the first edition of Gellu Naum Festival, during two days in Bucharest and Comana. The event will bring together important Romanian poets, close in a way or another to Gellu Naum and its poetry.

Also on Friday evening starting with 19.30 for jazz and musical lovers it’s prepared a new recital “Summer time”, of the singer Madalina Mantu at Tea house “Ceainaria ARTea”.

For stand-up comedy lovers a show is prepared on Friday evening starting from 21:00 in “In Culise” place, with Alexandru Minculescu, Maria Popovici, Florin Frațila and Alexandru Banciu.The entrance requires a reservation.

In Coltea Park from the center of Bucharest, the “Summer Symphonies” continues until September 25, a period in which Classical music lovers can listen to famous arias and symphonies played by famous artists starting with 18:00.
