Vodafone appoints Andrea Rossini at the lead of the consumer business unit

Telecom operator Vodafone Romania announced the appointment of Andrea Rossini, 42, as director of the consumer business unit, starting with March 1, 2013.

Rossini will be joining Vodafone Romania coming from Vodafone Italy where he was for two years consumer sales distribution director.  Rossini has 15 years of experience in telecom, having served in various management positions in marketing and sales in Vodafone Italy and Vodafone Group.

Before joining Vodafone Italy in 1999, Rossini was consultant at PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Previously, he worked at Pirelli in the production of telecom equipment.

He is licensed in science, economics, and industrial engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He also has a master’s degree from  Henley Management College.
