Vodafone adds new functionalities to AdPlus system, signs partnerships with online sales companies

Vodafone Romania announced it will add new functionalities to the mobile advertising system AdPlus which will allow superior targeting of users of mobile internet.

Thus, the most important sites that can be accessed via mobile phone can post personalized messages adapted to the profile of the users, based on the requests from advertising agencies and the client- companies. The system uses targeting criteria offered by Vodafone such as the potential income of the user, age, sex, address or the type of phone they use.

Vodafone Romania signed a series of partnerships for promoting the mobile advertising service AdPlus with the main online sales companies in Romania, Thus, the main sites for the mobile phone from the portfolio of Arbo Interactive, F5 X-Media and Splendid Interactive will post personalized messages.

Through the AdPlus service, Vodafone clients can receive, only with their agreement, information on the most recent launches in domains that interest them, commercial messages regarding their favorite brands and personalized content on the mobile phone.

Currently, the AdPlus service offers eight channels of mobile advertising: SMS Insert, SMS Push, MMS Push, banners in mobile internet sites and in the portal Vodafone live!, inserts in the Vodafone bill, advertising in Vodafone.ro and YouthSMS.ro
