VB Leasing Romania, member of the VB Leasing International Holding, will increase its turnover by 6 percent to EUR 90 million by-end 2011.
The turnover of VB Leasing increased by 25 percent to EUR 89 million on 2010, in a market that posted a 14 percent overall decrease.
For 2011, the leasing operator expects the total number of contracts to reach 3600, up from the 3437 that were signed last year.
The portfolio of VB Leasing registered an increase in the equipment and machinery from 19 percent in 2010 to 23 percent in 2011, while auto vehicles financing represented 77 percent of the leasing portfolio, down only 4 percent from the previous year, due to rising interest for commercial vehicles over 3.5 tons, destined for the transportation and infrastructure sector.
VB Leasing estimates rising demand in the next period from companies activating in the agriculture, transportation and construction sectors.
VB Leasing started operation in Romania, back in 2000 and is part of the VB Leasing International Holding.Osterreichischen Volksbanken-AG and VR-LEASING AG, each own a 50 percent stake in VB Leasing International Holding.
