Urgent Cargus, the second largest courier company in Romania, is expanding its services portfolio with a new and premiere prepaid service. Urgent Cargus Prepaid is already available for Romanian clients on the company website and comes with two volume options, of 25 or 50 door to door deliveries, for four types of parcels: Envelope, Small (3 kg), Medium (5 kg) and Large (10 kg).

The service gives Urgent Cargus clients the possibility to use the deliveries during a period of up to six months and has a fixed cost.

The new prepaid service is based on the market feedback we have collected from Romanian SME owners, with many wanting to have a better visibility in terms of costs with deliveries. Given the new context, we believe one of the best types of support we can offer our clients is cost predictability.”, stated Jaroslaw Sliwa, Urgent Cargus CEO.

The new Prepaid service is part of Urgent Cargus’ continous efforts to rapidly adapt its offer to the new business environment in Romania, including special measures taken to ensure continuity in a period when e-commerce is vital for a number of local companies.

The current period presents extraordinary challenges for many of our clients, especially those from the e-commerce sector. This has led us to update our working schedule and make deliveries during days like April 17 (Holy Friday) and May 1st, given the large volume of parcels we are handling, and to take extra safety measures in order to contribute to the overall efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.”, concluded Jaroslaw Sliwa, Urgent Cargus CEO.
