UPC Romania reported 978,400 customers at the end of the second quarter of this year, apparently less than last period because starting with this quarter, Liberty Global reports customers and subscribers (RGUs) only for UPC Romania’s cable division without DTH customers.
In T2 2018, UPC Romania recorded an annual subscription base (RGU) of approximately 5 percent, adding 112,800 new subscriptions.
At the end of the second nd quarter of 2018, UPC Romania has a total of 978,400 customers, and the company’s customer base has grown over the past year, with the company earning 33,400 new customers.
The revenues
In T2 2018, UPC Romania recorded revenues of RON 163.4 million, representing an increase of 4.3 percent compared to 156.7 million RON in Q2 2017.
The Romanian operator is affiliated with UPC Broadband, the European division of Liberty Global, one of the largest cable companies in the world, now in Vodafone portofolio. The company provides television services broadband internet and telephony in about 300 localities of the country.
