Turkish Airlines introduces flights on Istanbul-Cluj route

Turkish Airlines announced on Friday that it will introduce flights on Istanbul-Cluj route starting with July 12. Their schedule will be four flights on week, according to Anadolu agency.

The starting price of the tickets will be USD 129 for a flight on tge Istanbul-Cluj route and EUR 129 for the Cluj-Istanbul route, taxes and commissions included.

Once the flights to Cluj will be introduced, Turkish Airlines will offer flights to three destination from Romania: Bucharest, Constanta and Cluj.

Turkish Airlines fly to more countries than any other airline company, with 323 airplanes that serve 289 destinations at global level, out of which 240 international and 49 domestic routes. It has a wide history that started in 1933 when it was established by the ‘State Airlines Administration’.

Cluj is an important Romanian academic, cultural and historical city. In 2015, Cluj-Napoca was European Youth Capital.
