Traffic restrictions on Europa League day

Traffic will be restricted tomorrow, May 9th, with the occasion of the Europa League game, on all the streets around the National Arena, on the Basarabia Blvd. (between Hurmuzachi Square and Chisinau Blvd.) as well as in the proximity of the perimeters reserved for supporters- Constitutiei and George Enescu squares.

Until Thursday morning, traffic will also be restricted on Maior Coravu St. and connecting streets that lead to the stadium.

Also, starting from tonight at 8 p.m. and until Thursday, at 6 p.m., drivers are not allowed to stop or park their cars in the proximity of the National Arena, on Basarabia Blvd., Mihai Bravu Blvd., Maior Coravu St., Vatra Luminoasa St., Pierre de Coubertin Blvd. as well as Unirii Blvd., in Constitutiei Square, George Enescu Square, Franklin St. and C.A. Rosetti St.

Drivers would be well advised to avoid traffic in the areas close to the National Arena, while supporters are urged to come to the National Arena using public transportation.

Public transport

The number of buses has been supplemented, so that 45 more buses will circulate at intervals of 5-7 minutes.

Special routes will be introduced between the Henri-Coanda Otopeni airport- the George Enescu and Constitutiei squares, which will receive supporters- and the National Arena.

Between 9 am and 9 pm, buses will come every 5 minutes to tale supporters from Constitutiei and George Enescu squares to the National Arena.

Some buses will also go straight from the Otopeni airport to the National Arena between 6 pm and 9.30 pm, circulating every 7 minutes.

The subway will also function until May 10th at 02:00 and the program could be prolonged after this hour as well.

Europa League will be broadcast live on Pro TV starting from 21:15.
