The International Advertising Association (IAA) announced the appointment of the global vice-presidents for the period 2016-2018. Among them there are three Romanians: Mihai Barsan, Alexandra Olaru and Victor Dobre.
“We have now the whole team ready to contribute to the developing of the global industry, through leadership, insights and answers to the specific needs of our tripartite association (clients, agents and media) can offer. We will dedicate to our mission and we will do our best to become inspirational leaders for the industry and society,” said Felix Tataru, president of IAA Global.
The team includes new position in line with the IAA’s objectives and plans for the next two years. The organization focuses itself inclusively on creating a global platform of curated content that will contain the best practices in the world. Another objective is the development of the association in new territories and extending the cooperation with the Effie Awards in more countries.
IAA has, as well, a major interest in representing the practice area of corporate affairs in Europe. Moreover, the association will continue to develop its extensive learning, education and talent developing programs in the advertising industry. The integrity and the ethics, but also the unauthorized interdictions applied to the brands and the advertising will continue to represent priorities.
