Audit missions have been successfully completed for three Managing Authorities managing the Administrative Capacity Operational Program 2014-2020 (POCA), the Operational Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (POIMM) and the Technical Assistance Operational Program 2014- 2020 (POAT). The announcement was made by the Ministry of European Funds (MFE).
This institutional accreditation paved the way for the reimbursing of approximately EUR 866 million from the European Commission, which sums up the EU allocations for the three Programs throughout the current programming period.
“The designation of the management and control system has been our primary concern for European funds. This action was absolutely necessary in order for the financial flow of the reimbursements to start functioning, to reduce the pressure from the state budget and to bring the European money in the country,” said Deputy Minister for European Funds Rovana Plumb.
The total amount of the declarations of expenditure for the three Accredited Operational Programs to be sent immediately to the Commission is EUR 121 million.
It is estimated that by the end of this month the last four managing authorities under accreditation will be accredited, namely for the Large Infrastructure Operational Program, the Regional Operational Program, the Human Capital Operational Program and the Competitiveness Operational Program.
