These are the winners of FIBRA Awards

The first edition of the FIBRA Awards, the Romanian creativity festival, announced its winners. The jury awarded 3 Grand FIBRA and 21 Gold FIBRA awards in the 14 categories and the 42 sections of the festival.

McCann Worldgroup Romania became the Agency of the Year, while the “Campaign of the Year” was awarded to CohnandJansen JWT for “Purity Test”, brand Aqua Carpatica.

The Copywriterul of the Year is Sandra Bold (McCann Worldgroup Romania), that worked for the campaigns KFC Romania – „Little money, big fun” (McCann Worldgroup Romania), KFC Romania – „Fakation” (McCann Worldgroup Romania), Fundatia Renasterea – „Pin the pink” (McCann Worldgroup Romania) and PAUL Romania – „Bittersweet pies” (McCann Worldgroup Romania).

Miruna Macri is the Art Director of the Year 2016, by taking part in the ACR – ‪#‎seatbeltb00bing (Publicis Romania), ACR – „Street View Test” (Publicis Romania), Dacia – „Renault Zoe” (Publicis Romania) and PAUL Romania – „Bittersweet pies” (McCann Worldgroup Romania) campaigns.

The Client of the Year became Vodafone Romania.

Moreover, the jury chose the winners of the Young FIBRA competition. Therefore, in the ADventura URSUS, first prize (Gold) went to the team made of Catalina Ceparu-Schmidt Ionut, the second prize went to Constantin-Alin Carlaont (Silver), while Daniela Bacinschi took the third (Bronze).

The double Carrefour Challenge awarded 6 places. FIBRA Awards meant 371 works, submitted by 68 agencies and freelancers.

The Jury was presided by Kevin Brady (Executive Creative Director, Droga5 New York) and includes Evgeny Primachenko (Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam), Karpat Polat (KARPAT), Bruno Luglio (R/GA New York), Robert Nagy (HEAVY), Olivia Walsh (apple tree communications), Radinka Danilov (Ruskin & Hunt) and Wendy Richardson (72andSunny Netherlands).
