The national television plans to let go 10 percent of its employees

The national television TVR plans to make redundant 10 percent of its employees, according to Alexandru Lazescu, general manager of TVR, quoted by Hotnews.ro

 Currently, the total number of people employed at TVR is 3,300. 

 Additionally, the public television management will also outsource seasonal activities and restructure the budget allocated for supplementary hours and work during the weekend.

 These measures altogether should help reduce the expenses by approximately RON 50 million.

 The reorganization plan was made in collaboration with a Swiss consultancy company and resulted in a report that will be submitted to the vote in the administration board of TVR.
