The Ford National Sales Company becomes fully operational

The Ford National Sales Company (Compania Nationala de Vanzari – CNV) has become operational since the start of August, as a full-righted Ford commercializer, with the possibility to supply and deal with service operations and post-sale procedures.

Authorized dealers thus have access to vehicles and car components directly from the manufacturing company. This marks, however, the end of the Ford collaboration with Romcar SRL, as the main distributor of the American company’s products, according to an official press release.

“Romania is an important market for Ford in Europe. Ford already has a strong presence in Romania, through the production factory existent in Craiova”, declared Ingvar Sviggum, vice president of Ford Europe’s Marketing, Service and Sales Divison.

The Ford National Sales Company team comprises of an approximate of 30 members and carries its activity in Bucharest. Among these, Paul Flanagan, who has previously coordinated the activity of 188 Ford dealers in Great Britain, Zoltan Brassai, as Operations Director and Enrico Ferroni, Marketing Director in Romania and former Fleet Director in Italy.
