The Chinese companies are still interested in Romania’s major infrastructure projects, according to Ion Ariton, Romania’s minister of Economy. This statement was made, this week, during the meeting of a mixed Governmental commission, gathering both Romanian and Chinese counterparts who assessed the economic cooperation between the two countries.

Ariton mentioned that in the first eight months of this year, Romania’s exports to China increased by 33 percent. The Chinese vice-minister, Wang Chao, added that Romania has become the fourth commercial partner of China in the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe).

Romania’s Economy minister mentioned the major projects that will be delivered in partnership with Chinese companies.
