ColorEscu, a Romanian promoter of original Romanian shirts and accessories, made a survey among Romanians to find out more about their country vision, how they see the future of Romania and its values. The results show that 8 in 10 Romanians (83 percent) believe that a better Romanian future depends on each individual, while 13 percent say it depends on politicians and 2 percent mentioned the public institutions and the international environment as deciding factors.
Moreover, 7 in 10 Romanians (72 percent) say they wouldn’t leave Romania for a higher salary and 8 in 10 (79 percent) say they have friends who return in Romania or want to return.
4 in 10 Romanians want to go to the military parade on December 1 (the Romania National Day) and 3 in 10 want to visit a beautiful place in Romania during the free days; 98 percent of respondents say they like clothes inspired from Romanian traditions.
Romanians see themselves as hospitables, with 61 percent of respondents saying this, while 41 percent consider that the main flaw of Romanians is the lack of civic spirit, as well as a too much tolerance (32 percent of respondents), followed by the lack of education (20 percent) and honesty (7 percent).
The survey was online on www.colorescu.ro/blog and on the Facebook page ColorEscu, where 780 Romanians in the country and in diaspora attended.
