Star Storage launches Security Operation Center

Star Storage launched a Security Operation Center through which it offers services of administration, configuration, monitoring, the management of security incidents, the evaluation and update of security equipments. “The reduction of the budget, on the one hand, and of the number of employees, on the other hand, have put pressure on the IT departments of clients. The managers of those departments have reached the situation of not being able to coordinate the entire activity for lack of time and resources,” according to Viorel Delinschi, Business Development Manager Data Center Star Storage. The reasons for which companies resort to outsourced security services are cost reductions, compliance, the need for outsourcing those services that require major investments in security technologies, dedicated personnel, continuous monitoring, and intensive training in data security.
