Spherik to offer EUR 1 mln for revolutionary tech start-ups

Spherik launches the accelerator program for revolutionary tech start-ups at global level and will offer EUR 1 million in support. The program is at its fourth edition and will offer a prize, as well as mentoring at work spaces and consultancy in the business development for the start-ups which have a global development plan and a flexible acceleration structure.

The interested start-ups can apply to the program on www.spherikaccerator.com until May 1.

“From year to year we observed the maturation of the teams that launch start-ups in Romania. Spherik Accelerator had an evolution at the same time with the market and can offer benefits based on the selected teams. We are talking about mentoring and assistance in the tech products development, as well as market access and international scale. The money can be the catalyst that launch a start-up on growth,” says Dan Sturza, investment manager at Spherik.

“Our objective is to the accelerated and solid development of technological start-ups, which at the end of the program to be prepared to receive more significant investments for development,” says Nina Moldovan, the president of Spherik.

The program starts in May, with a preliminary stage for the validation of ideas and definition of products. Up to 15 start-ups/projects will be accepted in this stage. At the end of the first stage there will be an evaluation based on which will be selected the teams that go in the final stage of acceleration. The second stage will end in September, with a presentation in front of the investors associated to the program.
