Romania and Bulgaria were struck off the list of Skype’s Unlimited Europe subscriptions starting with October, according to the Bulgarian publication Dnevnik.

The package of subscriptions offered an unlimited number of minutes to fixed networks in 24 European countries, among which Romania and Bulgaria, for a cost of EUR 6.

Skype said that in order to launch new services for Europe, it should renegotiate contracts with telecom providers in the two countries.

Facebook and Skype will combine communication services and this fusion will allow users of the network to connect on Skype via their Facebook accounts.
