Siemens merges four Romanian companies, bvp Grigorescu advises on process

Siemens has reorganized four of its production facilities in Romania by merging Siemens Motor Systems SRL, Sykatec Systems Components Application Technologies SRL, Siemens Electrical Installation Technology SRL and SIMEA Sibiu SRL into one entity cumulating a turnover of RON 120 million and around 900 employees. Siemens was advised by a team of bvp Grigorescu, lead by partner Alexandru Rusu, who heads the firm’s Corporate practice. With the merger, Siemens hopes to improve the efficiency and the decision making of the four Romanian subsidiaries, concentrate their economic resources and exploit all potential synergies.
