Principal Company, which produces Salonta and Matache Macelaru meat products, has entered insolvency after the Buzau court of law decided to start insolvency procedures following unpaid debt to five other companies. The meat producer is appealing the court decision. However, the company already has a judiciary administrator, RTZ & Partners from Cluj-Napoca, which says the court decision must be applied even if the company has filed an appeal.

Principal Company is controlled by Signus Establishment and by Romanian investors Ion Dobronauteanu, Emanuel Dobronauteanu and George Ivanescu, who are also shareholders in the Murfatlar wine business.
