Russian state-owned company TISE is interested in acquiring the petrochemical Oltchim complex, according to an official press statement from the Romanian Ministry of Economy.
The general director of TISE, K.M. Galustyan met today with the Romanian minister of Economy, Ion Ariton and stated that TISE is interested in acquiring a majority stake in Oltchim that will be on public offer next year. The privatization calendar of Oltchim stipulates that the process should end by April 2012.
TISE has been founded in 2003 and has the Russian Federation as the main shareholder. Other shareholders include Technopromexport, Zarubjneft and Zarubejneftegaz.
