RTV channel becomes Romania TV

RTV, the news channel of businessman Sebastian Ghita that has recently separated from Realitatea TV, will change its name into Romania TV, according to Mediafax newswire.

The National Audio-visual Council approved a request from Ridzone Computers SRL, the company the runs RTV.

The modification in the name was a result of the fact that Realitatea Media asked in court that the use of the RTV brand should be suspended.
