RON continues to depreciate against EUR to RON/EUR 4.639

The Romanian national currency continues to depreciate this Friday against EUR to RON/EUR 4.639, reaching a fresh low from the last five years and three months.

On August 3, 2012, the National Bank of Romania (BNR) announced an exchange rate of RON/EUR 4.648.

The current BNR exchange rate was established by 0.011 RON (0.24 percent) higher compared with the value from the previous session, of RON/EUR 4.627.

On the other hand, RON appreciated against the USD, to RON/USD 3.98, less by 0.0062 RON (-0.16 percent) compared with the previous session.

The Swiss franc exchange rate reached RON/CHF 4.007.
