Rompetrol Rafinare, the refining company controlled by KazMunayGas, will propose to shareholders an investment plan worth USD 56.9 million for 2018.
The plan will be submitted for approval during the general shareholders’ meeting of the company that will take place on April 27.
The biggest share of the investments is allotted to Petromidia refinery in Navodari (USD 44.26 million), while USD 5.83 million will go for the Vega refinery in Ploiesti. Another USD 6.81 million will be allotted in the petrochemical field.
For this year, Rompetrol Rafinare estimates a gross turnover of USD 3.5 billion, estimating deliveries of 5.1 million tonnes. The company aims to increase its sales by 3 percent on international markets. The targeted operational profit stands at USD 130.74 million.
