Romania’s industrial production increased by 10.3 percent in August 2017 compared to the previous month of the same year, according to Eurostat.
The industrial production increased by 3.8 percent in the EU28 area in August 2017. Romania had one of the highest growth compared to July 2017, next to Lithuania (13.1 percent) and Latvia (12.1 percent), while in Netherlands the industrial production decreased (-1.8 percent).
Romania’s highest industrial production was recorded in May, when it grew by 3.3 percent
Compared to the same month of the previous year, Romania’s highest record of industrial production growth was in March (10.8 percent), while August was on the second place with a growth of 10.3 percent.
Romania’s production indices reached 146.8 in August compared to 143.9 in the previous month.
