The unemployment rate went down slightly in November by 0.2 percentage points compared to October to 4.7 percent, said the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
In October the unemployment rate was 4.9 percent, adjusted seasonally, a drop compared to September, when it was 5 percent.
Also the unemployment rate for males was by 1.9 percentage points higher then for females.
„The number of unemployed (aged 15-74 years), estimated for November was 443,000 persons, a drop compared with October (451,000) and November 2016 (492,000),” says the release.
For adults (25-74 years), the unemployment rate was estimated to 3.8 percent for November (4.7 percent for males and 2.7 percent for females).
The number of unemployed aged between 25-74 years represented 74.8 percent of the overall number of unemployed estimated for November.
