Romanian Tourism Authority launches news portal NewsTourism.ro

The Romanian Tourism Authority (ANT) has just launched the portal Newsturism.ro, which aims to connect providers of tourism-related events with the public.

According to ANT representatives, the portal will include a database containing all tourism fairs in Romania and abroad, activities carried out by ANT, interviews with key players in the field, as well as photo galleries and useful links.

“The public must always have access to a calendar of tourism events, straight from the source, eliminating intermediaries. Newsturism.ro will be the main source, trustworthy, which will help people get informed in real time, as part of ANT’s new communication strategy,” Anca Pavel-Nedea, ANT president stated.

The National Tourism Authority, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Relations with the Business Environment,  implements the national tourism development strategy.

The website does not have as yet an English language version.
