Romanian student selected as finalist in Google photo contest

Romanian Alexandra Claudia Manta has been selected among the top 10 finalists for the Photography Prize 2012, a competition organized by Google which gathered pictures from 20,000 students from 146 countries.

There were 10 categories for which contenders could send pictures. Manta won the Journeys category. One of the prizes for winners are that their works will be displayed starting May 23 at Saatchi Gallery in London.

Three of the finalists are from Israel, while the rest are from Norway, Hungary, Sweden. Great Britain, the United States, and China.
