Romanian President meets Prince Charles on Monday

President Traian Basescu will meet Prince Charles at Cotroceni Palace on Monday, June 11th, at 11.30, as part of the Prince’s private visit in Romania, according to an announcement posted on the presidency’s website.

The Prince’s previous visit to Cotroceni took place on May 20, 2011.

Prince Charles has been on a private visit in Transylvania since last week. He arrived on Wednesday to Miclosoara, in Covasna county and was welcome by Count Kalnoky’s family in the manor built in the 16th century in Renaissance style, according to Mediafax newswire.

The Prince also arrived the next day at Saschiz in Mures county, where he visited a point for processing fruit and vegetables.

The Prince has several properties in Romania, including a house in the Viscri as well as other two in Valea Zalanului villages.
