Romanian PM Mihai Tudose said today that Romania and Bulgaria could enter Schengen in one year’s time. The PM is attending the reunion between Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece.
“I am convinced that in maximum one year Romania and Bulgaria will be in Schengen,” Tudose said in a press conference with his counterpart Boiko Borisov.
Tudose also said the next meeting at prime ministers’ level between him and the Bulgarian PM will take place within one month’s time in Bucharest. “We wanted and we agreed together that this type of meetings (…) should become the norm, to meet monthly at prime ministers’ level,” Tudose said.
