Romanian paintings and jewelry on duplex auction

Several pieces of art will go on auction simultaneously in Mamaia, Romania and Monte Carlo, Monaco, at an event organized by Artmark. The auction, which includes 51 paintings and 50 jewels, targets art lovers who vacationing in one of these two top locations.

Works of Romanian painters Marcel Iancu, Nicolae Grigorescu, Nicolae Tonitza or Ştefan Luchian can be bought on this occasion.

The most expensive painting that was evaluated by Artmark experts is “Two Sisters”, an oil-canvas piece of artist Nicolae Tonitza. The estimated value of this piece of art is between EUR 100.000-150.000. “Summer Flowers”, signed by Ştefan Luchian, has an estimated price of between EUR 40.000 – 60.000.

The jewelry lot on auction consists of several pieces with diamonds and gems, such as an 1888 Bucherer ring made of platinum with an Emerald Cut diamond, which has an estimated price of EUR 55.000-77.000. The masterpiece jewel is a bracelet made of white gold and 494 diamonds, which the experts evaluated at EUR 115.000-140.000.

Each piece to be auctioned on July 22 can be seen at the Artmark HQ between July 11-14, at the Metropole Hotel from Monte Carlo between July 17-19 and the day of the event, at the Vega Hotel in Mamaia.
