Romanian electro-retailer Vitacom aims to expand its business in Hungary

Electro-retailer Vitacom Electronics celebrates 27 years of existence in September and aims to expand to the Hungarian market where it is in discussion with important local network stores.

The company’s representatives are expecting further increases in 2018, to a turnover of EUR 12.3 million, 15 percent more than in 2017. Estimates are based on increased volumes for Audio & Video, House & Hobby & Personal Care categories.

Vitacom recorded revenues of EUR one million in August, approaching the record of EUR 1.2 million in November 2017, which is why the company’s representatives expect a financial performance superior to the one from last year.

Another growth engine is the team’s investment and the optimization of operational processes. Thus, the Vitacom team has been expanded this year with 12 new employees in the sales department.

The company has implemented a dedicated supply management software, which has improved workflow and flow of supply processes. The management team has also benefited from investing in an online ecosystem with functions and tools to improve the decision-making process and the work of all departments.
